recension.now is on a distinguished road
Default 20 days in...

So, this has been an interesting journey. I've done similar exercises, but somehow the Ultimate Life exercises managed to shake out a more clear vision of my desired future than I'd experienced before. I'm still figuring out my purpose (just now deleted one of my Major targets and replaced it with two once I realized I were unnecessarily bundling them together).

Right now my current Major Target is the apparent subject of Simpleology 102--achieving enough long-term Money Power to let me comfortably focus on my other long-term targets. I'm still thinking about how I would achieve it, and probably will take some short-term steps (paying off my credit card debt, etc.) while I work through the 20 days of repeating the course before starting into 102 in earnest.

This won't be the easiest journey--I've a lifetime of extreme distractibility (to the point where I've been suspected of ADD), high ability to forget things, and countless more issues. But this system's already done more for me than trying to follow a scattered assortment of hints and techniques have accomplished. A number of those hints are helpful for resolving complications brought on by assorted mental quirks, but I had nothing really helping me to apply them on a consistent basis. A system like this, on the other hand... It not only presents information in multiple formats so that even my somewhat atypical mind has something to grasp, but also presents them in a clear step-by-step procedure--helpful when I'm having trouble seeing the details because I can only see the forest. It's easy to get overwhelmed with just the size of the whole.

I really enjoyed the videos, even though I missed out on the audio due to my deafness. The visuals were what really helped me (in some cases far more than books with similar advice ever did, I read them but it didn't fully sink in).

I feel more like I have a real purpose, even if I'm still fumbling slightly. But steadily I draw closer to that purpose. I'm feeling more hopeful than I've for a long time. Due to years of unemployment and living on disability payments, I was feeling discouraged. But now... My path'll likely take me off the beaten courses, but I'll get there, even if the straight line is a hike through less traipsed wilderness.
