Default Try this if you want to cut out/down on sugar

Question:

Who is the biggest consumer of sugar in the world? You know the answer. Its the industry that makes food.

Now, who is the second biggest consumer of sugar in the world? Did you wildly guess the tobacco-industry? Well, in that case, you are right.

Fat-issues is just the tip of the iceberg concerning sugar.

My father gave me a copy of a book called "Sugar Blues" written by William Dufty, dated 1973. He insisted on getting it back, because he thought is was hard to get hold of. But I checked Amazon and they sell it. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, check amazon and the customer-reviews. Buy and read the book.

The book includes a LOT of interesting stuff about sugar. History (slavery, high politics, lobbyists in the sugar-industry), health-related information, recipes, comparisons to other drugs (sugar has a lot in common with cocaine - heroine was sold in departement-stores about 100 years ago)

The worst thing about sugar is NOT that it makes you fat. Sugar makes you sick. Just check out amazon, it's worth your time. Sugar Blues, William Dufty. THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT! I sincerely want you to check it out. The book has opened my eyes. Spread the word.
