We Want YOU

Dear Readers,

First, allow me to apologize for the long absence.

In response to all of the emails asking me to blog more and to start posting the cartoons again: I hear you!

We're bringing the blog back in full force in the next week or so, but we're considering a slightly different approach ...

We may wish to bring on some guest bloggers.

Will you be one of them?

Our guest bloggers will need the following qualifications:

1.  An interest in The Constructs, Simpleology, and all things Joyner.

2.  The ability to write short, pithy, clear, and meaty Atomic Mind Bombs.

If it ain't an Atomic Mind Bomb, we ain't gonna print it.

3.  The desire to do this on a totally volunteer basis.

Let's face it - many blogs are merely after-thoughts to someone's marketing campaign.  The content is first here.   If you want to do this so you can advertise products and services, this won't be for you.  This must be based on the love of ideas and nothing more.

Is that you?

If so, tell me why you should be one of our guest bloggers in the comments below.

Oh, and meanwhile ...

I just got back from the taping of The Next Internet Millionaire.  This is the first time anyone has attempted to spin a full-production reality show totally online.

I was hanging out with Joel Comm and Eric Holmlund a couple days before taping and we joked that they should hire the Buggles to re-make "Video Killed the Radio Star" as "Internet Killed the TV Star."

The de-centralization implications here are pretty huge.

Click on the link above and watch the trailer.  It's kind of creepy and Fincher-esque so I don't know what to expect with the final mix-down!

I wanna blog!
I write fulltime for living- one tihng i want to blog on is the use of simpleology constucts and aides with kids- i am a parenting writer who writes for a pile magazinesa round the world. Blogging would be a great way to let off steam about all the things I can't always write about- and I am not scared of rasiing a few hard questions on the topic.

I'll contribute. Being a lover of freedom and seeking to spread the gospel of self reliance and personal responsibilty I think my thoughts would be relevant for today's times.

I absolutely positively would want to be a guest blogger. I've got a mind full of ideas and a world full of problems. I'd love to talk about some hard hitting issues and explicate their significance in relation to The Constructs. I can get controversial and pose some uneasy questions and am not afraid of political correctness.

I can also speak from the point of view of a 20 year old kid growing up in a controversial America. I'm sure I can provide some valuable content on topics like freedom and citzenry and the roles of my peers at home and abroad
Only thing is I dont know what the job of guest blogger would entail. Would you want me to write something specific? Or do I just submit anything and it gets filtered through the team?

Check out my posts on the forum to get an idea of how I write. My posts on Simpleology 103 show my varied interests in the world.

Please pick me. I'm a willing volunteer who'd really love to showcase some talents for writing and "Mind Bombing".

Ever since I was 17 years old, I had personally crafted what my destiny would be - and over the past 7 years things just occurred either of my own doing or otherwise that crystallised it - that is to fulfil Construct 0 through Construct 1 and maybe help you, Mark, create Construct 2 (which says coming soon!).

This is one of the greatest times to be alive, change and paradigm shifts happen at a more frequent rate than at any other time in history and this is our chance to steer the course of the future through actionable ideas.

I get a new idea or permutation of an idea almost as often as I breathe, and being able to share it with a receptive audience presents an opportunity for any 1 of my many, many ideas to be implemented by a massive number of people, effecting lasting change upon the world.

Long Live The Meme!

I'd be happy to put together some impactful posts. I'm moving into simpleology 102 and have plenty of great things to say about it.

How often do you want contributors to post?

I saw the trailer by the way. Top notch production, I can't wait to see it~! The Next Revolution Online is On The Way!!!

Hi Mark,

I have run a blog covering many topics related to marketing as well as mind expanding topics that actually make you think.

I am a Joyner Junkie and not ashamed to admit it which means I am an advocate of the Simpleology way of life, learning, and the pursuit of freedom!

Thank you for your consideration,

Mark Brown

Posted by: Mark Brown at August 14, 2007 2:11 AM

I can blog because bloggind helps people to know more about the topic

Posted by: archita at August 14, 2007 3:01 AM

Mark - I think some of the most difficult challenges for people whose work is centered around the Internet (as mine is) is to focus, eliminate the distractions, prioritize, simplify. That's why blogging about Simpleology is so appealing to me--it's a way of living and working that I still struggle with daily, so it's never far from my sensibilities.

Qualifications: I've been a fulltime freelancer for many years (4 books, hundreds of magazine articles), and have been on the Net since the days of DOS and CompuServe.

Posted by: Nancy Hendrickson at August 14, 2007 4:03 AM

Hmm

I would love to post a few pithy blogs although I do sometimes wonder whether anyone out there thinks in the way that I do?

For example;

How come people talk about "The Law of Attraction"... Wouldn't it be more accurate and less of a sales pitch if people referred to it as The Hypothosese of Attraction?

I'm a life member of XL (extraordinary lives) and our focus is to move towards irradicating poverty via entrpreneurship.

So, yes, I would love to be invited to post blogs and find a way to help the planet, the people on it and all species that make up this blob called earth..

Warmest from me.
Steve

this is a critical time in our "one-world" planet. not only has the internet changed the way we do business but also the way people access information daily from stock tips to "how to's" on just about everything. we are all connected to each other through our daily thoughts which create our "one-world" planetary environment both physically and emotionally. when the "mass consciousness" fully realizes this and begins to teach these universal laws, a major shift will occur. infact, it has already begun.....hence, the age of aquarius which is upon us now. as light bearers, we are here to usher in a new way of thinking, believing, and creating. may some of way i have shared spark your inner divine and assist you in keeping an open heart as well as an open mind about new ways of being. imagine peace. visualize peace and good fortune. create peace and good will. remember that we are all here to help each other. - marye.

I would certainly enjoy writing some Atomic Mind Bomb posts.

Why me? Because I often think in Atomic Mind Bomb form, even creating challenges towards my own beliefs in order to shift my perspectives into new paradigms.

Yeah, I admit that often-times I shift perspective and then go right back to where I had been before, but it's the practice of awareness that I truly enjoy upon this type of thinking. If the new perspective serves me better than the old one then usually it sticks.

I must warn you though, if you do choose me to do some blog posts, you better read them first to make sure they're not too controversial. >:D
And I won't be offended if you do deny them for any reason. :P

I won't promote any products or services, but I will try and promote knowledge of Truth and Peace where-ever possible.

I'm in! Would love the chance to bring value to this community. As far as all things Joyner... who isn't hooked? ;)

I believe I even have an interesting angle to add to the mix... having served in Iraq for a year. And, being involved with several organizations committed to revolutionary change in the world:

OneLuv - One-Luv.com
Vision Force - VisionForce.com
Total Health Circle - TotalHealthCircle.com

And, of course... MarkJoyner.name. Not trying to promote those... but, think it gives a good idea of my scope.

And, I've got no doubt I can deliver some pithy, meaty content to rev up the value in here.

Hey, and thanks for the opportunity, Mark. Good stuff!

You are doing a great job expanding the context in which we operate, as well as teaching and providing tools to implement techniques and strategies to get what people want.

My goals: Expand context, teach the details, and implement techniques and strategies.

I am interested

Hi! I´m not sure if you´d like me as a Guest Blogger - I may be a bit too subversive and out of focus sometimes. Aside that, I do love the constructs and simpleology is a pocket-guide-book for me, I´ve been using for some year or more now.

My life is simple: I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and try and live as happy as I want. Not easy all the time, but we´re here to make the effort. What is not simple is the way my mind tries to understand the world. I thank simpleology for balancing that.

Posted by: BrunoLongo at August 16, 2007 3:12 AM

Mark,
I'd like to play. Since I can use words instead of drawings (I even draw stick people badly), and since I can think and use metaphor, I would be a good candidate. I'm not afraid to speak my mind either.

Thank you for considering me.

You know this is a bit late however I will post to let you know that I am greatful to you Mark. Thanks for your ebook I got to listen to a book online instead of on cassette way back in 97. I am greatful and would love to give back to you and your readers like me.

Me? I am Shane I have a passion for personal development, people and Mickey Mouse. Although I don't read do to my vision and my spelling ... well frankly it "stincs", grin just kidding on that one word really it does though ... still I have many books in me that will hit the public and the top of the charts. I am a stay at home dad full time now do to discrimination and even though I am not on the show I am also one of the next internet multi-millionairs to come from the web in the next years.

Blog? Blogging with not for you Mark would be yet another way for me to help others and that is my main goal I now know I am ment to help others see even though I can not. Your blog would do this and more helping more and more people see. See more about them, See more about the world, and see more about ways they think.

HUGS!!!!

Expect Miracles...

Like Bruno I have the subversive and a little out of focus bent. Non-fluffy & non-compliant. Skeptically but genuinely interested.

Paradigm shift pinch-hit for Mark Joyner? What a golden opportunity.
Rather than put up a brag sheet I'd rather take a swing at an Atomic Mind Shift blog...
A Simple Law of Good Health.
Eat less. Keep active. Do good.
You can traipse around all the diets, the fads, the consultants, for a lifetime of sidetracking but the direct route is to take action yourself.
Luigi Conaro, a Venetian nobleman, proved this in the 16th century. In his early 30's his physician gave him a year to live unless he changed his life of debauched over-indulgence in food and wine.
Unassisted, Luigi experimented and found out what worked for HIM, was one meal per day consisting of 10oz of meat broth and a glass of fresh wine per day.
In his early 90's Luigi wrote in his "La Vita Sobria" (A Treatise on a Sober Life, 1558) how he lived a vibrant life of service, of deep daily joy, and peace of mind even in the most adverse circumstances.
That simple.
P.S. La Vita Sobria has never gone out of print.

MJ,
Even at this late date my pen is at your command.

Until now I'd never considered the parallels between your Atomic Mind Bombs and what I'm already posting on my blog.

I did notice at some point that I have been taking specific actions that support the ideas in your constructs.

Let me know what you need.

Dear Mark,

If you're still looking for another guest blogger, then you may have found your man, as I may exceed all of the qualifications. Here's proof:

1. An interest in The Constructs, Simpleology, and all things Joyner.

Proof:
I have read, listened to, and watched, almost everything to do with The Constructs, Simpleology, and all things Joyner. Beyond just the more well known like Simpleology 101 or The Great Formula, I also have learned from MindControlMarketing.com and higher end products such as 7 Day Business Turnaround Kit and and Extreme Business Makeover.

2. The ability to write short, pithy, clear, and meaty Atomic Mind Bombs.

Proof:
I already write Atomic Mind Bombs, and though you won't print it, I can also write sub-atomic Mind Expanders. My education gives my a solid foundation: I studied honors philosophy at what is considered to be the top liberal arts college in the country where I wrote award-winning essays.

3. The desire to do this on a totally volunteer basis.

Proof:
I already voluntarily tell people about Joyner and Simpleology and blog about the latest developments in the Simpleology/Joyner world.

4. Bonus: Experience in writing and marketing

Proof:
A little about my background to prove that I have the chops: After college, I worked as a freelance writer and was published numerous times on the front page of newspapers. I've also been published in cutting edge online publications such as PureInsight - http://pureinsight.org/pi/ Then, I turned to Internet Marketing and proceeded to be hired by Brad Fallon at FreeIQ ( http://freeiq.com/en - the marketplace for Ideas) as a web marketing specialist.

I don't say this to brag, but just to prove my competency in thinking, writing, and marketing for the role of a volunteer blogger.

Are you still looking for a blogger?
Most every topic that comes through you and simpleology inspires me and lines up with my thinking. I was excited when readying your Simpleology book and saw the themes of real science (i call myself an open skeptic). The ideas reminded me of a book called "Why People Believe Weird Things: Pseudoscience, Superstition, and Other Confusions of Our Time" You will definatley enjoy this online video if you haven't seen it. http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ I would be curious to see your thoughts on a centeral banking system like the federal reserve? (i'll write something on another blog )
I have also have an interest in you constructs in all categories. I just ran into a gentleman in the canyon yesturday with a battery powered motorcycle. Max speed of 55 miles an hour cost about $4000. Your vision inspires me!

Note from MJ: Hey Mike, thanks for the kind words - yes we're still looking for bloggers and KaChing Tankers! Please contact anne@markjoyner.name - as for Zeitgeist, the Federal Reserve, et al - all I can say is this. Most certainly the surface reasons and explanations for things (the war etc.) are not based on actuality. What the real explanations are, I have no idea.

Nielson/NetRatings has issued a study showing that the top 10 social networking sites saw traffic grow 47% over the last year, with MySpace seeing the biggest growth (367% increase) and MSN Spaces (286%) seeing the biggest growth. Hosted blogging systems were included in the study.

One thing to note about those numbers is that while Classmates had one of the lowest positive growth rates at 10%, they spend loads on advertising while MySpace, Youtube, and Facebook haven't spent a penny.

If I recall correctly, a couple years ago Classmates.com was one of the 10 largest spenders on online advertising.

There are plenty of new social networking sites poping up but what get's me why can't myspace there instant messenger working. $580 mill and can't afford to fix instant messenger BAD myspace.
There are so many better ones how about http://cubiclelife.net for example has all the features of myspace plus quizzes, polls, webchat with audio and video oh and hey they have instant messenger. You have a long way to go myspace.
